God of all the families
of the world, for most of us it is enough to love but a few people deeply:
spouse, friend, child, parent. But your love is not an
exclusive love. You have given Jesus
Christ to us as Savior, as friend, as brother.
And in Christ we have indeed found ourselves at home in your
family. We thank you for Jesus Christ,
who greets each person as brother or sister, and summons us to recognize each
other as family.
