JUNE 10th CELEBRATIONRev. Karin Walker will move into her new position with the B-W Conference as a District Superintendent starting July 2007.  We will celebrate Karin’s 4 years of service to St. Paul’s on Sunday, June 10, 2007, immediately following the 10:15 church service.

Karin has faithfully served our church with amazing vision, dedication, compassion, and love.  To acknowledge her wonderful service to St. Paul’s, the Staff Parish Relations Committee would like to extend an invitation to all members of the St. Paul’s church community to contribute to a Gift Fund for Pastor Karin. Please bring your donation to the church office and label the envelope “Rev. Walker Gift Fund” to the attention of Hal Frazier or Tracey Furman.  Please have your donation arrive prior to June 7, 2007 so that we can give her the gift during our Celebration party on June 10th.  Thank you for your generosity.

SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL for children ages 3 through 2nd grade will be held in rooms 201 & 203 every Sunday this summer.  If you can volunteer for one or two Sundays this summer, the children would really appreciate it.  It’s easy, very low key and relaxed.  You will not need to prepare a lesson. It is simply a safe, loving place for the younger kids to go while their parents go to church.  Sign-up on the sheet located in the stairwell outside the kindergarten room. ALSO, needed is a coordinator to prepare sign-up sheets for parent volunteers/sign-in sheets to use on Sunday and make sure snack & craft supplies are available. If you can help, contact Laura Nelson at 301-596-1620 or 4Nelson@comcast.net
