SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL – We will be
offering Summer Sunday School to children ages 3 through 2nd grade
in the 4-year old classroom every Sunday this summer. This program is staffed entirely by parent
volunteers. If you can volunteer for one
or two Sundays this summer, the children (and parents!) would really appreciate
it. It’s easy, very low key and
relaxed. You will not need to prepare a
lesson. It is simply a safe, loving place for the younger kids to go while
their parents go to church. A sign-up
sheet is located in the stairwell outside the kindergarten room. Please consider this easy and important
volunteer opportunity. ALSO, SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR NEEDED – Responsibilities are limited and easy – prepare sign-up
sheets for parent volunteers/sign-in sheets to use on Sunday and make sure
snack & craft supplies are available.
Please let Laura Nelson know if you are
interested. She will be happy to answer
any questions you have. 301-596-1620 or 4Nelson@comcast.net
