Call
to Confession
A
merciful God awaits to hear the confession of our
sins.
Prayer
of Confession
Dear
Lord, as we draw closer to the cross of Good Friday, give
to us an awareness of our sin. Remind us
that we have not always been the people you have called us to be. May your fresh and generous
Spirit flow over us as we grow in newness in Jesus Christ. Amen.
Prayer
of Silent Confession
Words
of Assurance
Hear
these words of grace: In Jesus Christ, we have been given a chance that lasts
forever. Our sins are forgiven, thanks
be to God. Amen.
Pastoral
Prayer & Lord’s Prayer
Our
Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be
done on earth as it is in heaven. Give
us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those
who trespass against us. Lead us not
into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom, and the
power and the glory forever. Amen.
